The Karo Highlands green coffee beans are sourced from smallholders in the district of Paranginan, located in the Humbahas Province of Sumatra. These farmers typically cultivate coffee on land spanning from 0.5 to 1 hectare. However, the region benefits from a moderate climate ranging from 15 to 25 Celsius, which coupled with favorable soil conditions and high altitude, makes it a prime location for growing high-quality arabica coffee.

The coffee-growing region of Karo Highlands boasts an ideal environment for cultivating arabica coffee. The region’s moderate climate, along with the advantageous soil and high altitude, make it the perfect place for smallholder farmers in the area to grow coffee. Despite working on small plots of land, these farmers are able to produce high-quality coffee beans that are sought after by coffee lovers all over the world.
